Coleridge was an early 19th century poet, critic and philosopher. Coleridge and Wordsworth were founders of the Romantic Movement in England. Coleridge was one of the Lake Poets and is best known for his works The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and Kubla Khan. Biographia Lieria is loosely referred to as an autobiography, although the writing is interspersed with philosophical essays on the works of Kant, Fichte, and Schelling.
